"innogy Consulting offers me attractive career prospects."
The energy sector provides great challenges
The energy sector has accompanied Kata Soós since the start of her career. In her bachelor’s thesis at Corvinus University in her home of Budapest, she focused on the admission of a Hungarian player to the energy sector. Even today, the thirty-year-old is still just as fascinated by the energy branch: “The rapid development of the market and the need for new, innovative products as well as increasing digitalisation, which requires the bundling of technical and strategic issues, are what make my job so exciting,” Kata Soós explains.
Holistic project support
She is confronted with the conflict between these issues again and again. The project that stands out for her is the innogy IPO in 2016 combined with the division of management and support functions between RWE and innogy. Another key factor that led her to select innogy Consulting were the numerous opportunities she would have in designing projects:
"I knew that I would have the possibility at innogy Consulting to follow projects from conception to implementation. And in doing so, have responsibility and contact with clients from day one."
In addition to the range of responsibilities, above all, it’s the collaboration that has won her over in her five years at innogy Consulting. The combination of freedom, an open feedback culture and solidarity between colleagues is what makes the work at innogy Conulting special for this native Hungarian.
Challenges in an international environment
This is the reason she wouldn’t want to change anything on her professional path thus far either. “I would do everything exactly the same. The diverse projects, each with new challenges, the internationality and the can-co attitude combined with the passion for everything new ensure that nothing ever gets boring.”
